Connie Hennings-Chilton

Connie Hennings-Chilton, a transplanted Canadian, expresses her love of Hawaii in her drawings, plein air landscapes, florals and paintings of the people of the islands. After starting a career in nursing, and traveling from Canada to areas around the world, she decided to make Hawaii her home. In 1986 she decided to work at her art full time.

She has painted portraits of executives of AMFAC Corp. She has created designs for Hawaiian Airlines and Phone Line USA. Island Heritage Publishing Co. and Laurel Ink of Seattle have published her card designs and children's book illustrations. She is a member of the Association of Hawaii Artists, Hawaii Watercolor Society, and the National League of American Pen Women.
